While there are far too many Diablo 2: Resurrected Runewords to detail here, players leveling through the game for the first time will want to seek out a few standouts. Related: Diablo II: Resurrected Faces Server Instability & Missing Characters Runewords must also be placed in a specific order to spell the desired word, or else the item will simply be a piece of gear with three individual runes. The Runeword must match the exact number of sockets on the gear piece, so a three-part Runeword can only be placed into a three-socket item. But where does the Druid fit here? Does he scale with Str or Dex on shapeshifting skill? Does he scale with Int for spells? Are we even having a system similar to D3 in stats distribution? All in all, I see the last 2 classes: 1 being the agile archetype (Assassin/Rogue/Amazon/DH) and the other a holy warrior thing (Paladin/Templar/Crusader).Runewords are special combinations of runes that, when placed into a piece of Diablo 2: Resurrected gear in the right order, grant the user additional bonuses. Attaching a Runeword to an item comes with a few caveats: For starters, Runewords can only be used on non-magic, grey-text (Normal, Exceptional, or Elite), socketed gear, and only chest, helms, shields, and (most) weapons can have sockets. But I think it's kinda difficult to figure out what the last remaining class will be, we already have guaranteed 1 from each attribute.

Which would mean that the summoning classes like necromancer\witchdoctor would not make an appearance until an expansion\dlc.TBH I'd like to see the Rogue make another appearance. The 5th will either be Crusader\Paladin\Templar, some sort of righteous, holy user. So i'm betting on Demonhunter making an appearance, sadly. We already have 3 repeat appearances from Diablo 2, so i doubt they'll go with Amazon, even though i'd like it.

It can be anything from Rogue, Amazon, Assassin or Demonhunter considering the previous ones fitting that role. We're pretty much guaranteed on having a ranged, dexterity user.
